SETC 2010 Podcast
TACT: "The following presentation is not exactly a podcast, because we were not sitting in front of microphones mixing our voices to create a clean sound. Rather, we recorded our presentation live at SETC during our presentation “What Are We Doing?: Re-thinking the Theatre Arts Curriculum.”"

Wow...these articles are surprising and to be frank, pretty depressing...
I knew that several graduates wouldn't ever even end up working in the field but, to having hard-cut numbers makes it a whole different story. Some of the proposals from faculty members really brought out some major issues with the system. This seems like it isn't just intrinsically based on our current financial situation but a subculture that has been created.
THis article is really interesting. For me, the fact that actual numbers are being presented is an astonishing thing. I mean here at CMU we are bombarded with the ideas to cut costs and use stock resources, but this takes it to a new level. I don't think that when I take the carpentry mini this sememster I will use as much wood.
