Director Stephen Cole kept coming back to 'Time After Time'

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "For humans, the journey from conception to birth takes a little under nine months. For Asian elephants, it's 21 months.
A new musical can take much longer.
For Stephen Cole, the writer and lyricist of 'Time After Time,' it's five years and counting."

This is a great article about a great show...I should know, I wrote the musical...I did not however direct it...Gabriel Barre did.

WOAAAH, this musical sounds incredibly out there and like nothing I've ever heard of before...which is strange because it incorporates a lot of elements that have suddenly found their way into the spotlight. Like you get a sense of time travel, which is by no means a recent theme, but I'll consider it more recent just because of the newly released film the "The Time Traveler's Wife," and romance never really gets old. A mashup of all these different elements sounds really exciting, and I'm curious to see how they incorporate a sense of cohesion throughout what appears to be a really diverse musical.
