This Berkeley native just got nominated for a Tony Award
Datebook: In early April, Manhattan Theatre Club announced it would produce “Eureka Day,” marking the Broadway debut of Oakland playwright Jonathan Spector. Then on Tuesday, April 30, when the 2024 Tony Award nominations were announced amid a packed season on Broadway, Berkeley native Shana Carroll was among the honorees, for co-choreographing, with Jesse Robb, “Water for Elephants,” a musical about a Depression-era circus.
