This story and headline caught my attention because it was both so heartbreaking and incredible easy to believe had happened especially in LA. The facts are as follows; Crew and designers are human that is how we perform to the best of our ability, As humans we are not built to work 16 hour days, run on no sleep and live off of little food to get the job done, Companies often like to ignore the needs or crew for the sake of efficiency. This is why IATSE exists and i truly wish that they were willing to do more when it comes to span of day for TV and film. I personally can not believe that they are looking into alcohol use of this case as it seems unlikely that with 30+ years of experience Priem was drinking on the job. I wish 9 1 1 would take accountability for the ridiculous hours crew are put through but I know that is not realistic.
