Milwaukee M18 Fuel Cordless Framing Nailer Review
Pro Tool Reviews: The Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless framing nailers (2744-21 and 2745-21) hit store shelves back in June 2020. They put out both 21-degree and 30-degree models that work identically save for the nails used. We only wish it would have been here in time for our best framing nailer shootout.

Similar to what Elliot talked about in the Pro Tools Review of the M18 Packout Vacuum, this is one of those family of tools where the battery powered versions are becoming more and more compared to their counterpart. Being about to take pneumatic tools and make them battery powered saves people and construction sites a huge burden. Without the need for compressors and hoses, these new tools are truly cordless, lighter, and reduce tripping hazards. Initially, I started seeing a lot of smaller profile or smaller gauge uses for these. From brad nails to staplers, these are truly up to par it seems. I start to worry when it comes to the power needed to drive a 16 penny ring shank nail through a 2x4 and into another. From what I've read, it seems like this is becoming less and less an issue, however, I would like to try one for myself.
