Audition Dancewear Wants To Make Dance More Eco-Friendly

Pointe: When you dig through your collection of leotards before class, do you ever think about how they're made, or what they're made from? Chances are, most dancers don't, and Audition Dancewear wants to do something about that.

I have actually never heard of clothing made out of recycled materials. In fact, after reading this article, I went on to read more about the subject, and it's actually quite interesting. I loved reading the story about the women who created Audition Dancewear. I always love reading stories about women who grow their own companies and produce amazing results. I did laugh a little bit to myself when I read the part about how "In the girls' generation, everyone is concerned with the environment," because that really is true, and I'm glad that because of this Shelly and Kathy have it high on their list of priorities. I do wonder how long it will take before more and more companies take after those that already use fabrics made from recycled water bottles.
