www.avixa.org: Lititz is legendary. Those seeking the roots of the experience design business quickly learn that this South Central Pennsylvania town is where the biggest, most famous, most legendary productions begin. It’s where the Clair Brothers first started renting out PA systems more than 50 years ago. It’s where TAIT Towers radically changed lighting and staging systems beginning in 1972.

Rock Lititz seems like it is or at least should be the headquarters for event and concert production. To start, their facilities seem to encompass everything you need during production including space to rehearse as well as food and provisions. On top of this, many companies are starting to move into Rock Lititz, putting those companies right there at your fingertips at all times. Rock Lititz also seems to have huge expansion plans to make it even larger and better suited to production needs. I think this would be a great place to visit. With so many companies in one place, there is so much to learn. While I’ve never been, I feel like you could learn a lot in just a few days at this facility. One day I hope to be able to go and see what they are doing over at Rock Lititz. Maybe I’ll even find myself working there in the future.
