The Best Cordless Air Compressor

toolcrave.com: Cordless air compressors are now available from RIDGID and DeWALT, with more to come very soon. They don’t have the power to drive an air hammer or break lug nuts, but they are ideal for trim work and any other household or jobsite duties that require compressed air.

I am not a huge fan of air compressors in a working room unless you are generally by your self when you are working. This mostly builds from the fact that air compressors are just super noisy. Part of me hopes these are not as noisy as other systems but nothing in the reviews show that. That said I do like the move towards getting more battery powered devices on a work site while I am sure that both air compressors are limited on top pressure I'm interested to see how they perform and top pressure for long periods of time. Both products look interesting in how useful they may be but I just can not see me using a cordless air compressor for tools, maybe for other functions just not tools. In short I think that the industry is moving in a great direction when it is moving towards battery powered tools and I am considering trying these compressors out I'm just doubtful I will change my mind.
