12 Celebrities You Didn’t Know Love Event Planning

www.eventmanagerblog.com: They say Hollywood is glamorous and we often see celebrities walking the red carpet and attending events but how much do they actually get involved in the planning side?

Many celebrities merely have to turn up to events and they are paid for the privilege but that doesn’t stop some of them from wanting to get more involved and put on their own events.

I think this is an interesting read, its not something people usually publish about celebrities. Most of the people listed are women, I'm not too sure how to feel about that. I know I enjoy planning, and I would say my female friends enjoy it more than most of my male friends, so is that one of the innate interests in generic code or a learned practice? An endless debate for sure, but this article shows some insights to the specific celebrities and what they exactly have done and like to do. I don't image that celebrities are actually just puppets that get thrown into clothing and tossed to different event, I like to think that they make choices and decide about a lot of the things they wear, and what they go to, and anything they host is their vision. I wish that they would go more into big scale event planning, like red carpets and primers and how much influence the celebrities have, or how much they like to and are allowed to organize the event.

At first I was so intrigued by the nature of this article. Celebrities. Event Planning. This article was written for me. Although, as I continued through reading this article bit by bit I continued to get more frustrated by the author of this piece. In the title I imagined Celine Dion designing a beautiful ornate wedding for a flight attendant that included lilies and apple pie. But, what i received was short paragraphs about how talented celebrities are for planning charity auction that with no doubt were constructed by an elaborate mob of "assistants." I was expecting Say Yes to The Dress but I received something much more naive and superficial (and that is saying a lot.) We to stop the nature of society the praises celebrities for everyday tasks and leaves actual event planners and employees stuck with no reward. There are actual hard working event planners trained and talented in the complicated field in which this is their career. In contrast to this, this article is joke.

All of the celebrities listed in this article are oober famous. I would go as far as to call each of them and their "personality" a brand. They all have strong points of view, and don't only see themselves as business people or a celebrity. They are creators and trendsetters. To be a brand, I think it is obvious that you must be hands-on. In putting forth one's point of view and making a statement, who better to lead the way than yourself?
The celebrities that lead their own team and are heavily involved in their "planning" are the celebrities we care about, thus making them more relevant and more of a celebrity. At the top of the list I would say Kris Jenner has truly taken her family's "celebrity" and run with it. From planning lavish events, to her daughters dating the "right" celebrities, to putting her youngest daughter's into the fashion modeling industry, it seems as though Kris Jenner truly has a hand in all that her empire does. She is the ultimate "mom-ager." Now merging the West and Kardashian brand, I am excited for what is to come next from the two.
The E! Network where the families fame skyrocketed reformed their entire graphic presentation to suit the needs of their most profitable television program. The Kardashian-Jenner-West brand is taking over pop-culture. It only makes sense that Kris be involved in all the goes on. She is a powerhouse.

This article does not surprise me at all. Event planning is almost like throwing an over the top party and getting paid to do it. These people have loads of money and are the kind of people that when they set their mind to something they go all in in and get whatever they want. They also know exactly what they want so they are really easy to please. One of the things that they learn through experience is how to source all of the things that they need, but that they will learn with time. Another thing is that they have had to attend hundreds of events, so they know exactly who the audience is and what they will like and what they will not like. The only downfall is that you get the stress of making sure everything happens perfectly and all of the guests are happy, but that’s minimal.
