Preview: Public Theater season comes to close with comedy of manners 'Private Lives'
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "Private Lives" has been consistently in production in English-speaking theater for all of its 80 years, and no wonder. Even today, when TMZ and tabloids act as all-seeing eyes into high society, Noel Coward's 1930s comedy of manners cuts out the middle men and grants an up-close encounter with the misbehaving rich and famous. Plus, you get the playwright's wicked wit as a bonus.
