I am fascinated by the idea that theatre can respond to current events within a few months of them happening. There is often such a delay in production since theatre and creating performances of stories is a process that by the time a piece comes out the topic has become somewhat stale or a look into the hindsight. I am also intrigued by the idea of creating a site-specific piece that occurs in an office which, aside from the play space, is still functioning for businesses. I also wonder how the interviews are to be compiled, since there is mention of so many. Since there has clearly been so much work put into the play, I hope Enquirer strikes awareness as it intends.
