'Ghost Whisperer' actor to bring Lincoln to the stage

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Prepare to 'hear' from the dead when actor David Conrad of the TV series 'Ghost Whisperer' appears this weekend in Carnegie.
Conrad, 42, will resurrect the words of Abraham Lincoln when he narrates 'A Lincoln Portrait' at 2 p.m. Sunday in Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall."

To tell you the truth, Ifind it extremely disconceerting to find that many people in the Unite States don't even know thier own history. I know that many people don't know the full extent of Lincoln's power. I feel that the goal of theater is to educate people to the lessons the storyhas to teach, and if some scholastic knowledge is conveyed at the same time, then all the more power to them. I think that the free theater and lessons are important for everyone to take part in at some point in thier lives.
