Every couple of months the idea that the public image of an organization is important seems to swing to look at either electronic communication, web sites, or both. This time around it looks like it's both again. If the only way that the public interacts with an organization is through that public image then it clearly makes sense that the public image becomes extremely important. Other than that idea the rest of the article seems to just tell you to look at the ways that the public interacts with you on the internet and make sure that they all happen in a positive way.

@Tom: The whole thing is an advertisement for a webinar, so I would expect that they would be hyping the need for a strong public image on the internet. This is not to say that I don't disagree with them. I think the most important thing in here is about finding your organization's voice. I follow several Twitter accounts for companies and theatres, and their biggest downfall is that most of them sound like the press page of their website - short lead-ins with a bit.ly URL leading to the latest positive reviews and press releases. They flow together and are terribly uninteresting. An organization could stand out even by simply responding to their fans - an Italian restaurant in Chicago that I follow writes back snarky retorts to the followers, and tosses in quips and non-sequiturs that pop out at you on the post thread. It's little things that give the organization some personality and make it stand out.

I thinks Online Voice such as blog or website is very useful as a Communication tool between audiences and organization. Audiences can get a lot of diverse information though the site, not only formal information, but also unformal information. Also, online voice is easy to communicate each other. So, managing online service became important in arts field.
