Enron Prosecutor Praises Show, Misses Whistleblower

Bloomberg.com: Former Enron Corp. prosecutor Andrew Weissmann settled into his seat at a recent preview of Broadway’s “Enron” at the Broadhurst Theatre.
“When I heard they were making a musical, I thought, what a joke,” Weissmann, 52, said. “It will be like ‘Springtime for Hitler.’”

This is awesome! Ok awesome might be a little strong but I find it so refreshing, and weirdly new. I had no idea that they were making a musical about Enron, and I think its a brilliant idea. For one, its the type of storyline like, 'Lombardi', that is just a different spin on the normal shows you see cycle through. Secondly, I was not quite old enough to really understand what was going on when this was actually happening, but there is a whole other demographic that can be channeled from a marketers prospective. Also Norbert Leo Butz playing Shilling is terrific all in itself
