CLO brings back familiar faces this summer

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Emmy winning actress Sally Struthers will return to the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera this summer as Carmen Bernstein in 'Curtains.' The backstage Broadway murder-mystery musical plays June 22 to 27 at the Benedum Center, Downtown.
Struthers, who is still best known for her role as Gloria in 'All in The Family,' has previously performed at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera in the 2007 production of 'The Full Monty' and the 2003 production of 'Annie.'"

Its really exciting to have Paul Vogt come to the CLO to play Edna Turnblad. I know he'll do a great job. On a side note, he was recently in an episode of Grey's Anatomy, playing an opera singer - it was a good episode. Also, its also great to have a CMU grad at the CLO. All in all, it looks like this summer has some great shows lined up with some exciting actors and I hope they draw in a nice crowd.
