Arts Leaders Converge on Technology in the Arts from October 9-11, 2008 Hosted by Carnegie Mellon's Center for Arts Management and Technology
Yahoo! Finance: "Two hundred arts managers and directors from around the country will converge in Pittsburgh at the Hilton Hotel and Towers on October 9 - 11, 2008 to share knowledge of and gain access to innovative technology solutions specifically designed for the arts and culture industry. The three-day conference hosted by Carnegie Mellon's Center for Arts Management and Technology will offer creative technology solutions for arts organizations within the realms of artistic expression and access, administration, interpretation, donor relations, audience development, and marketing."

This would be something extremely interesting to touch base on. Having so many diverse people come together for a sinle cause and having that be to improve our industrial design quality. It is obviously a bit sad but it is in a good light. I think that it is obviously something that should/needs to happen and what a better way than having our generation come together and present our ideas and focuses with each other? I am all for things such as these!! They make working on anything extremely exciting.
