This show inspires a feeling of nostalgia in every Happy Days fan, which I'm sure is what the producers were going for. I have a feeling it's going to be pretty successful, not only because it will receive initial large audiences of 'Happy Days' fans, but because it seems as though it was actually well-written, and not just taken for its cheesy 50's aspects.
I can see this show going either really well or really 'legally blonde'-ish. It could be a funny, perhaps witty even musical based on and maybe even poking fun at the TV show or it could fall into one of the many traps surrounding it, IE taking itself too seriously, reusing old material unnecessarily, or one of the other many pitfalls it will have to avoid. As a fan of the TV show I wish it luck.
