Director Jerry Zaks Plugs Into 'Nerds' Musical
Yahoo! News: "Zaks, a four-time Tony Award-winning director, confirmed his participation to Playbill columnist Harry Haun on Sept. 18. A production spokesperson could not confirm any details; full creative and casting for the musical are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The Broadway launch is expected to happen in spring 2009."

Here's what I'm talking about! A new original musical, that sounds wonderful. How creative to take a story from the "science/math/computer" end of reality and mesh it with the arts, I'm sure some of the humor comes from this crazy/ironic grouping. Also the director is wonderful. I love John Guare's work, but it's some deep/complex/abstract stuff. Any director who could take those wonderful words and put them onstage, winning Tony's must be fantablous. I would really love to see this show, not only for the new plot line, but because of this director.
