Fireworks Accident at Wrestlemania XXIV Overshadowing the Event! Video!

No-Name247: "It appears the freak fireworks accident that happened last night at Wrestlemania XXIV at Orlando's Citrus Ball is overshadowing the results of the event. The accident occurred after the Undertaker won his match, and it appears a cable broke loose and flying thru the crowd."

Unfortunately, a night that should (and, in my mind, will) forever be remembered for the retirement of Ric Flair is being overshadowed in the local media for the fireworks accident. The good news, though, is that wrestling fans will forget about the accident and focus on the other great moments of the evening (Flair's retirement, Undertaker winning the title, CM Punk winning Money in the Bank), and non-wrestling fans will forget about the event altogether.

No matter how strict you make rules and regulations on dangerous special effects, mistakes can and, though unfortunate, likely will be made at some point or another. This isn't the first time a fireworks malfunction has caused harm, though it sounds like it was more of a rigging problem than with the fireworks themselves. Fortunately there were only minor injuries though I'm sure the legal issues are going to go through the roof.

Unfortunately accidents happen. although this article does not go into too much detail, problems like this can happen in people are careless or just are out of it for a day. It is weird that the WWE official comment only says minor injuries, some injuries can be considered minor, but there seem like they could be a problem. I do not follow WWE, but it seems like this is overshadowing the actual event.
