Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "When have you been to a play and a chicken dance broke out? Not to worry. Although I can imagine the prospect might repel more than entice, in the present case, it works just fine.
The play is 'Chantecler' by Edmond Rostand (1868-1918), perhaps the most famous playwright nobody knows much about -- famous for 'Cyrano de Bergerac' and 'The Fantasticks.' Rostand was celebrated for bringing back rhymed verse, and 'Chantecler' (1910) is an animal allegory of the committed life."
