lifehack.org: "The InsideCRM guys posted this managerial cheat-sheet today for anyone in a leadership roll. Thankfully they’ve also split all 101 into categories."
I think the common senses are the hardest thing to keep up with. They are the simplest form, but the easiest to forget about. The promises are abused in so many ways that it sometimes defeats the purpose. There should be a class, How to Make a Realistic Promises 101 for the managers.
As an aspiring stage manager, I found this article rather useful, even if it did state the obvious at times. Sometimes it is good to read articles like this to remind yourself what is expected of you and what you should expect from yourself. Not to mention, you need to hear advice like this from someone besides yourself so you are in touch with the wants and needs of other people. It is all about keeping touch with all those around you and everyone you work with. As managers, we cannot thrive without the success of our team.
