Makeup Master Will Be Remembered

Letters | SCI FI Weekly: "With this in mind, I think it's important to acknowledge the passing on July 27 of William J. Tuttle, the special-effects makeup artist who brought the Morlocks to life in H.G. Wells' The Time Machine (1960), turned Peter Boyle into Frankenstein's monster in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein (1974), and who, in 1965, won an honorary Oscar for his work on 7 Faces of Dr. Lau. He was 95."
