Broadway Goes Blonde : New Musical Begins Palace Previews April 3
Playbill News: "Legally Blonde, the new musical based on the Amanda Brown novel and the 2001 film of the same name, begins previews at Broadway's Palace Theater April 3. "
I believe Reese Witherspoon is part of the producing members...? I didn't know it was based on a book of the same name. What a great example of one-source, multi-use! They only have to go into the doll, game industry, now, since they conquered the musical, movie industry. I heard it was suppose to be really good and I can't wait to hear the Broadway critiques have to say about the show.
I personally am very cynical about this musical but I am sure it will do extremely well although if it wins a tony for best musical I might just keel over but anyways...I think I will go and see this musical sometime because I am sure it will be one of those shows like wicked which are on broadway for a very long time.
