Stanley (2006)
New York Times: "Lisa and Todd D’Amour have reconsidered “A Streetcar Named Desire.” What if, after the fragile, damaged Blanche DuBois was taken away to a sanitarium in the last scene, it turned out that her sister, Stella, and Stella’s brute of a husband, Stanley Kowalski, didn’t live happily ever after? What if Stanley actually longed for Blanche (“She turned my house absolutely upside down. ... It was fantastic.”) and finally went in search of her?"
