Stage Right students take on 'A Christmas Story'

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Tony Marino, artistic director of Stage Right Theatre Company in Greensburg, has chosen the holiday favorite as one of two student productions offered throughout the year by the company's Children and Youth Theatre. He says he discovered the stage adaptation of the movie during a random Internet search of popular holiday plays."

I think this movie is undergoing a cultural revival at the moment. And yes, I'm partial to it myself. But I think this is cool to share in conjunction with this article:

Kudos to the school for taking it on, it'll be a hit with the parents and the kids will probably have fun, too. -- Maddie Regan

As we enter Holiday time, its nice to not have the be cheerful and merry and everything works out story of the christmas carol, but rather a bit of sarcasm and holiday humor with some fun and family time. A Christmas Story would be so fun to put on, maybe a leagues benefit piece for next year?
