NBC's Thanksgiving Day Parade Features Broadway Shows and Performers
Playbill News: "Several Broadway musicals — including A Chorus Line and The Color Purple — will be featured during the 80th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will be broadcast live on NBC-TV Nov. 23 beginning at 9 AM ET."

This year's parade shows how they must always be prepared. There was downpour on the parade this year and they still had to perfrom. I remember watching and thinking to myself, they are gonna slip any moment now. Overall, although it rained, the performances appeared to be a success.
I always like that Macy's kicks off with the Broadway Shows. Usually with the lil medley they do I can figure out which musicals I want to see on Broadway in the upcoming year.
