A Holocaust story lost in translation

Philadelphia Inquirer: "By odd coincidence, I had just been teaching Art Spiegelman's graphic novel Maus. The 'comic book' is about the Holocaust, and is based on his father's memories of his life in Poland before and during World War II; it's also about the father-son relationship. An hour later, I was watching another memory/Holocaust story, also Polish, also about a father-son relationship. But this was a show by the Wroclawski Teatr Lalek, one of Europe's oldest puppet theaters, performing The Last Escape at the invitation of Mum Puppettheatre."
