Portland theater takes center stage
The Seattle Times: "The opening of a major new playhouse is a festive occasion in any sizeable city. And the opening of Portland Center Stage's handsome new Gerding Theater at the Armory last weekend was accompanied by plenty of hoopla — and some audible sighs of relief."

Portland is actually home to a thriving arts community complete with many museums, dance companies, and performing arts venues. This new addition will certainly become a highlight of these already well known downtown establishments. Several of my co-workers from home live and work in Portland now and their talk about this new space is positive so far...
