NOTION Used to Augment Orchestra for Meat Loaf Concerts
(BroadwayWorld.com): "These concerts tie into the launch of Meat Loaf's new album, 'Bat Out of Hell III,' the long awaited third installment in the most successful rock album series of all time. 'With NOTION's vast selection of musical tools including thousands of sounds recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, Meat Loaf will be backed by a 16 piece orchestra which will sound like a 60 piece orchestra,' state press materials."

I wonder if the introduction of NOTION into live performances will eventually lead to some legal disputes with musician's unions. Why should we pay for a full orchestra when a partial orchestra with NOTION will sound just as good?
-Aaron Siebert
Interesting point Aaron. I know I would probably rather listen to a full orchestra in some instances, but this probably does provide some people with an out when needing an orchestra. Off course, if NOTION has the capabilities to sound like the London Symphony Orchestra, it is because of some work that the LSO did for NOTION, so they gave up some ownership when they recorded their sound and made the original agreement with NOTION.
