Join Us! Cult Film Evil Dead Comes Back to Life as Off-Broadway Musical
Playbill News: "'Blood will fly, limbs will be lost, demons will tell bad jokes. All of this, and singing and dancing!' boasts Evil Dead: The Musical, a new musical comedy based on the Sam Raimi cult film classics, which hits the Off-Broadway stage Oct. 2."

Amazing…. This show has the potential of becoming a cult classic like “Rocky” or “Cannibal the Musical” There is nothing better than stage blood and fake body parts flying around the stage. I just wonder how high the production values are with the special effects. The picture with this article has a very cheesy chainsaw. I know safety would be a major concern for the production, but a little realism never hurt anyone. All this aside, in a heartbeat I would drop bones to see this.

As someone who is a fan of the "Evil Dead" trilogy, I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the other hand, I could see this shaping out like "Shaune of the Dead" which I think any zombie fan would endorse.
