Got Beckett?

This will confirm that Barry McGovern, currently playing Vladimir in the Gate Theatre's production of WAITING FOR GODOT will arrive at the School at
2 PM tomorrow.

He will meet with students in the Rauh starting at 2:30. He is ready to work with senior actors -- and hopes that you "know the play well". The play in question being WAITING FOR GODOT. If you would like to prepare a short dialogue section or monologue, again from the play, he would encourage that -- but be prepared that they may not be used. (Given the short notice
-- unless there are closet Beckett freaks among you senior actors, I wouldn't worry about this unduly.)

Other students from any and all options are welcome to observe to the limits of the Rauh's seating capacity if you do not have a class which conflicts or have been excused from same.

Barry McGovern is a remarkable actor -- the foremost interpreter of Beckett.
I hope you are all looking forward to this as much as I am!
