Please join me offering our warmest congratulations to Cindy, who has been selected as the winner of this year's Alumni Association Faculty Service Award.
The dedication letter acknowledges Cindy as "an outstanding teacher, lighting designer and enthusiast for the University". She was nominated by many former students and alumni.
Cindy will receive the award at a ceremony held on Friday, October 13th, 7:30 to 9 PM in the Rangos Ballroom, University Center. Incidentally a Drama alumna Iris Rainer Dart will also be receiving an alumni service award for her accomplishments as screen writer, so we are well represented by these talented professionals this year.
Please help us celebrate these accomplishments by attending the 2006 Alumni Awards Ceremony if your schedules will allow.
