Solano College Theatre in Fairfield, CA, seeks a full-time technical director. TD supervises shop staff of 3 plus overhire and students for 9 show season in 2 theatres. The position requires experience in carpentry, rigging, welding and mechanics, AutoCAD or VectorWorks, budgeting/estimating and scheduling. This is a salaried, full-time position, starting at $33,900 with health, dental and vision care, paid vacation and sick leave. A degree is not required, but will allow the qualified candidate to earn additional incom through teaching community college courses.
