Personally, I would have liked to read more about his accomplishments in the professional theater. I know that this award deals directly with his teaching career, but I also think that a good teacher is comprised of all their experiences...especially in the profession that they are supposed to have knowledge about. If he had zero experience in the art of making theater, then how can he teach it? How can high school teachers that have no experience in theater be educating young minds about it? Maybe this guy did have experience, it just wasn't noted in the article.
In reply to Jessika's post....
I'm sure the guy has experience if he taught at the University of Evensville. And after 30years in teaching the guy must know something.
