OSF produces eleven plays annually in rotating rep in three theatres. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to work at the direction of the Technical Director to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Scenic and Paints Departments. Duties include: maintenance of shop book keeping, purchasing, inventory, facilities and tool maintenance and repair as well as assisting both the TD and the Construction Supervisors in the budgeting, planning and execution of scenic elements.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or VectorWorks, professional scenic carpentry experience including wood, metal, and rigging skills (and experience with mechanics, hydraulics, any pneumatics is helpful), be able to work independently, have a positive attitude and act professionally at all times. This is a full-time, year-round position and is currently open. Salary is from $750/wk dependent upon experience.
