Trafford native writes the book on early rock concerts

TribLIVE: Pat DiCesare is responsible for one of the greatest — if not the greatest — moment in Pittsburgh music history. When the Beatles performed Sept. 14, 1964, at the Civic Arena, it was mostly because the Trafford native had long believed the British band was going to be huge.

But DiCesare never got to see or hear the fruits of his labor.
