A Tech Expo Challenge
usitt.org: Here’s a challenge to all USITT members: make this the biggest Tech Expo ever!
What does that mean? It is simple. Take a little time to look over the past production challenges and triumphs; if there is a unique or innovative solution, share them with the rest of the membership.

Every year we have such a strong presence, and even for thoase who did not participate, looking through the submissions is always neat. What I think people forget when trying to think of a challenge is that not all challenges are large. I know the entry featured in the photo is quite a piece of work, but one of the pieces I remember is a challenge that was props-related and not an uncommon one. It was the gun in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf
?" which, when shot, pops out a flag and not a bullet. It was a good idea for an expo piece even though it was not a large scenic unit or challenge in moving something.
