Wow, I'm surprised no one has commented on this. The idea of a horizontal saw is a really int resting idea and I wonder if it could be created and used safely ever. Im impressed that this man was able to make this strange looking saw however this looks absolutely insane and I don't know how soon it will be until he slices his fingers off.
Oh dear... What a way to say good bye to your thumb. The saw itself is so hazardous and unpredictable. Working with saw blades are already dangerous enough that we don't have to increase our chance of getting hurt. Shame that we didn't get to see the finger getting cut off in action.
Hey so you know those things that are such a bad idea you almost feel like the person deserves to be hurt for trying them? This is the principle that makes America's Funniest Home Videos funny normally. And people wonder why they get hurt... Use the tool for its proper use, pleeeeaaase.
