Best seat in the house

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "It's a great feeling to have tickets for a special show. You look forward to the night, spiff yourself up ... and end up straining your neck to see the stage from an obstructed view."

There really is a lot to consider when choosing seating, I think this article addresses that quite thoroughly. That's one thing that always frustrates me about ticket sites like Ticketmaster. The fact that you can't ask for individual seats, only 1 of three sections of the theatre. I definitely prefer ordering through phone because if you are aware of good areas, or just take into consideration the ideas that were expressed in this article, you can really have "the best seat in the house".

This is definitely a very thorough article. What bugs me sometimes is the "closer is always better" mentality that a lot of people seem to have. At least thats what I have noticed when watching theatre's with open seating fill up. It really depends on the type of show, venue, and personal preference.
