Harvard musical reimagines Jesus, Judas relationship as 'gaysian love story'
nypost.com: Harvard University students have “reimagined” the story of Jesus Christ and one of his disciples as a “heretical gaysian (gay, Asian) love story,” in a new play premiering this week.

jesus? gaysian? please say less I'm so interested. And y'know what after reading the article and watching the trailer clip attached to it, I think they came up with such an original idea about an Asian love story of Jesus being a gay homecoming king. Although it may sound a little far fetched of a concept, it's sort of ingenious. Romance is dead and all other relationships pale in comparison to the steamy hot sexual tension Jesus and Judas canonically demonstrate for each other. We all kinda saw it. Who else is bringing the Jesus/Judas mlm fanfiction to life that we all needed in our life? I can't unsee what I just watched. They are trying their damn hardest but so much of it just doesn't make any sense. And like, what was the budget for their shows, these kids literally go to Harvard and I could see 2x4 onstage.
