What an interesting show this must be. Foreign music, a rarely spoken about culture and all while have in a positive light poured on it. This for me feels like a first in many ways. What’s more, its getting lots of recognition and nominated for a lot of different awards. That’s always step one right, that usually means its caught the eyes and ears of the people. But will that be enough to lift it over the edge and win some or a majority of these awards? That question is the one that always puts a lump in my throat. I really hope this is a good show and it help start the conversation of people from the Middle East and North Africa. I hope it explores the tensions between these to opposing states of mind and how they too can find a good common ground were peace is possible.
