“It’s an artists’ tool that artists could never think about exploring because of the cost of it.” This is such a cool integration of art in the Chicago environment- that is supported by the city, especially as a way to have artists work around the city showcased without any specific brand or sponsor attached to it outside of those creating it. This will definitely be a way for artists that may not have the ability to have their work seen on such a large platform that opportunity. I also love how it is will allow people to continue and integrate the inclusion of different types of design and projection art in other sections of Chicago. I wish this article went in deeper when talking about the “incredibly expensive technology” that allows this to happen- as well how these projectors will be kept in good, working condition and protected, because I feel like it would be fascinating to hear about.
