I don’t know if I appreciated the sarcasm and mocking of this article. I feel that in our community, especially in my grade where few of us are considering sound design as an option, the humor might be lost, and though I do get a decent amount of the jokes, it’s far too jaded and self deprecating for me to find it funny. It’s cute though, and the morals of it are worth it if you care to read through every question. I’m horrified to see how people who don’t understand the nuances of audio would answer though, it’s a really good example of finding the little things that aren’t exactly intuitive conceptually and playing off of common mistakes people make because their common sense lead them astray. There’s a trope of that existing more on the technical side of theatre, but I think that it exists in all facets of productivity. I guess it shows how valuable true understanding of something is.
