ZioGiorgio.com: With all reports from the opening of PLASA on Sunday pointing to a busy and bustling show, ZioGiorgio were excited to spend their first day at PLASA 2015 today. Since the move to from London’s Earl Court to the ExCel Exhibition Centre in 2013, the show has seen growing success, and this year sees visitors from over 100 countries attending, with an estimated combined purchasing power of over £3 billion.

An interesting thing I discovered when i reached the end of this article was that even though I had just trawled through multiple paragraphs of product information, and been told about the new layout at this tradeshow, I still had no idea what exactly PLASA is, or what the acronym stands for. I understand that there's a lot of theater tech there, that it's in Europe, and that it hosts many visitors (with a combined purchasing power of three billion English pounds, but I, despite having sat through that article, am still foggy on the details. For example, I don't know if PLASA aims to cater to all entertainment spheres, or is is a niche show for specifically theater, or theater and film, or film alone, or specifically commercial/ corporate events. I also haven't the foggiest idea why PLASA exits, how many years it's been going on for, or what in God's holy name PLASA even stands for. That's right folks, I don't actually know the name of this thing.
I'm unsure as to how this got published, actually. Between the grammatical errors and borderline irrelevant content, (I don't want to now what GPL is doing. I want to know the name of this shindig.) I wonder if there was even an editor involved.

This convention looks like an incredible experience. I wish I could go to this and see what products they have. It actually reminds me of our state festival or out south eastern theatre conferences. I love when companies display all of their items and saying "this could be yours" or "you could be a part of our company some day". Not saying that the companies that were displayed were any good or something I'm interested in. It's just nice to have visuals and see what's out there when you're still in school and trying to figure out what you want to be and you want to work for. I personally want to work in design for scenery, however, if a prop shop company wanted to hire me I may take that opportunity depending on how good they are. For example, if Scappoosee wanted to hire me, I would undoubtably say yes.
