Avoiding Wrecked Wraps
Signshop: In today’s sign industry, vehicle wraps have become ubiquitous and almost a sure source of profit. After all, you cannot drive down the street without seeing at least one wrapped vehicle advertising a business or service. And the growing popularity of color-change wraps has expanded the market even further.

The proper installation is important for anything, not just car wraps. The different steps to this are kind of obvious once you think about it, but I can see how people would also forget a few when they are actually going through with it. But isn't that most things? Hindsight is 20\20 after all. There is always a prep, there is always a post.
I think that it is good to have the whole process planned out before execution. The process that this article describes must be planned out every step of the way, otherwise you might wax your car! This is similar to our lives, since we need to really plan out everything.
I actually never knew how it is that car wraps are made and applied. I've seen them around of course, but I guess I never really thought about how they got there. I completely agree with Kristin though -- proper installation is very necessary, and a lot of times people will forgo reading the instructions thinking that they're simple enough and end up with a malfunctioning product.
I wonder if car wraps would ever become more of a consumer product rather than a more or less strictly commercial one -- I'm sure there are people out there who are willing to pay for a unique car decal. Depending on what the cost generally is to make a new design for a wrap and to manufacture it, there might be a new market out their for personalizing cars.
