Chicago Plays - Your Source For Theatre In Chicago - League of Chicago Theatres: The House Theatre seeks a scenic supervisor / master carpenter for its upcoming summer remount of Death + Harry Houdini.
Responsibilities
-Facilitate communication between scenic designer, commercial scene shop, production manager, and other departments
-Oversee load-in and strike of set by commercial scene shop
-Complete scenic notes as they arise during tech and previews
-Maintain or repair set as necessary throughout run
-Work with production manager and shop technical director to ensure on schedule and on budget execution of designs.
