This sounds like such a great concept; combining dance show lighting with mathematical formulas. As someone who is interested in lighting I think it is exciting when the designs can be generated by something as finite as mathematics. It also sounds (and looks from the picture) like a beautiful show, with red pathways. The color red is pretty bold in itself, and the feeling of being told where to go, it almost reminds me of being guided by lazer pointers.

I think this is a very interesting concept taking the stage and the hidden areas of back stage and changing them so the audiences see them, however, it is not completely true because for most of the performance the stage is read. I would love a chance to see this because of the lighting designs of seeing difference withing consistency.

Dance and math, that is a combination I never would have thought of. i would love to see it's implementation though. I know that there are mathematical principles behind music, i don't see why they can't also govern light, movement and dance as well. The idea of bringing the audience on stage is interesting. as a dancer, there is so much to think about well dancing (the movements, the counts, the emotion, where to be on the stage and when ) that I feel like have the audience walking through that would just be a annoying, though I respect any dancer willing to try it.

I think this concept is interesting as Nathan said it is going to bring a once hidden area into the forefront and all them to see it. Math and dance is not a new concept I think it makes perfect sense how these things can be incorporated. Dance is comprised of math just like music as Jenni said dance is so much of timing. If the timing is off in choreography the piece looks completely dysfunctional the same can be true for lighting...
