Review: 'Electra' chases revenge with unerring focus
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: There's not an ounce of fat or fluff in "Electra." Pittsburgh Public Theater's production of this ancient Greek classic is lean, muscular and surgically focused. Sophocles laid the foundation with a 90-minute drama that swoops you up, impels you along and doesn't loosen its grasp until the inevitable and satisfying conclusion. His story of a family shattered by murders, betrayals and lust for revenge is clear, fierce and immediate.
