I find it interesting that this article debates whether the defendants will be let out on bail. Their sentences are seven years and six years in jail and we worry about putting them in jail for a night? I understand that there is an appeal process and these men may not receive any jail time, but in the minds of most people they are criminals. I am even more shocked at the last few sentences of this article. Garth Darbinsky has continued to work and produce art even after his conviction. Does anyone else see a problem with this? Darbinsky still has money to produce work. Is that work being funded by the money that he stole from Livent?
