'A Child's Guide to Heresy' a showcase for The Rep's talents

Post Gazette: A world premiere calls for a major effort from all hands -- set design, costumes, lighting, sound and talented actors orchestrated by a veteran director. The Pittsburgh Playhouse Rep rose to the occasion in mounting Kendrew Lascelles' "A Child's Guide to Heresy" for its season opener.

This sounds like a show you should want to go see! It's great that Pittsburgh Playhouse is using the creative writing of Mr. Lascelles and making it into a play. The whole idea is very exciting and innovate of them to do. Not many theatres would actually take on such a task. Without the great collaboration everyone working on some part or another of the show it would not have come together. It was a big job, but sure sounds like they accomplished from this article!

It is so great to hear about a production where all of elements of a production are equally acknowledged and respected. I agree with Page. The concept is new and exciting, risky, but hopefully will benefit in the end! As a student, It's so encouraging to know that theatre like this is being produced so close to home. You never know what opportunities may arise by venturing out and seeing the art being created around us.
